PRECEPT MEDICAL PRODUCTS, INC. AWARDED FACE MASK AGREEMENT WITH PREMIER, INC.

Arden, NC – December 9, 2004: Precept Medical Products, a manufacturer of disposable medical products including protective apparel and surgical drapes, has been awarded a multi-source agreement to offer members of Premier Purchasing Partners, LP access to its line of face masks. The term of the agreement is for 3 years, effective January 1, 2005.

Premier, Inc., is a strategic alliance in U.S. healthcare, entirely owned by nearly 200 of the nation's leading hospital and healthcare systems. These systems operate or are affiliated with nearly 1,500 hospital facilities in 50 states and hundreds of other care sites.

This new agreement incorporates Precept’s full line of surgical and procedure face masks. These face masks are available in a variety of styles (including anti-fog, with and without extended face shields, and incorporating tie or earloop attachments). The masks are made from an array of materials to provide maximum comfort and protection. The FluidGard™ line of face masks offers ultimate protection from bacteria and splash from bodily fluids, having passed the ASTM F1862 blood splash testing standard at the highest level of 160 mmHg.

This new agreement with Premier complements the current purchasing agreement between Premier and Precept Medical Products for headwear and shoe covers. Precept supplies a full line of headwear, including bouffant caps, surgical caps, and surgeons’ hoods. Shoe covers are made from a variety of materials and are available with and without anti-skid traction. In addition, Precept produces a line of bootcovers, including its Tyvek® and FluidGard™ bootcovers.
